Functional Family Therapy

Functional Family Therapy is a proven, well-documented and highly successful family intervention program helping dysfunctional youth.  This home-based program encourages growth, improves communication and promotes healthier relationships within the family by teaching positive communicating, parenting, problem solving and conflict management skills.

Who we serve:

  • Families of youth ages 11-17 with behavioral issues and/or court involvement

How the program works:

  • Families are referred by community providers, Department of Children and Families, parents, physicians and schools.
  • Family therapy is provided for 12-20 sessions by a masters level clinician.
  • The FFT program collaborates with schools, the Department of Children and Families and/or Juvenile Justice Program personnel to treat the entire child and ensure success.
